Known as Mary & Mary in the early 1970's, Mary Rita (Stubits) Clifton and
Mary Agnes (Hertel) Blinn performed together in the Chicago area. They sang the songs of such artists as Joni Mitchell, Peter, Paul and Mary, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
Singing together since grammar school, their voices blended beautifully together and the selection of material was diverse. It is unfortunate that no recordings of these two talented women exist today.
